The NHA is a natural health education center that teaches consumers how to take back their health. Our goal is to empower, educate, and inspire people to get healthy using natural, readily available, and inexpensive means.
We also run an online grocery store with the world's best nutritional supplements at great prices AND local delivery. We plan to have a storefront soon! We also provide individualized nutritional coaching along with nutrition, lifestyle, yoga, and martial arts instruction for adults and children, including women's self-defense classes!
Our unique approach to service, which centers on love, listening, education, and genuine concern (as opposed to the desire to sell something), fills a massive gap in our fast-paced, frenetic culture. (Owner and manager Amanda de la Garza)
The NHA wants to: 1) empower people to take control of their own health; 2) inform consumers (English- and Spanish-speaking) about pervasive corporate and government influence on health-related information; 3) provide a venue for learning about and practicing physical fitness; 4) strengthen the growing trend of consumers away from invasive, toxic treatments; 5) work to prevent government and corporate interests from taking control of the natural health field; and 6) offer guidance and information about the best, most natural, and effective ways to regain vibrant health without drugs or surgery if possible.
We are not physicians and do not intend to replace traditional medical care. However, the NHA believes strongly that the current U.S. health care system has become unbalanced, corrupt, and dysfunctional, and we want to educate people about natural alternatives and transform through empowerment the unquestioning, passive, victim-oriented mindset that has become the norm in our society.
